Celebrate Mardi Gras in Alexandria!

February 28, 2017 / editor

Even though over a thousand miles separate us from the center of the Carnival celebration in New Orleans, there are plenty of places right around The Parker to make you feel as if you’re in the Big Easy.  Whether you call it Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras, the celebration will be the same!

RT’s Restaurant: Throughout the night celebrate Fat Tuesday with live music, costume contest and party favors. If you can’t make it to RT’s tonight, their Mardi Gras celebration runs through March 5th!

Two NineTeen Restaurant: You can’t go wrong with the spot that dishes out genuine New Orleans food day in and day out.  Head there for happy hour in the Bayou Room and live music all night!

Looking to explore another neighborhood in the DMV for Mardi Gras? Check out these options from The Washingtonian and Eater DC!

Have fun and as they would say in the Big Easy, laissez les bons temps rouler (let the good times roll)!
